The Rodriguez and Mitchley families would like to thank all of you who supported us in our
business venture for the past two years. It is with much sadness that Ilsa’s Kitchen will be closing
its doors 12/17/11. During the past two years we have made many friends and have beautiful
memories that we will always treasure.
The story of Ilsa’s Kitchen is unique and we thought that quality would give our restaurant the extra
push it needed to make it. We strove to provide authentic German food closer to Austin than
Fredericksburg. Many of our customers, regulars and newcomers alike, told us they agreed and
having that reinforcement provided the support to help us keep going. We really tried to make our
restaurant the best German restaurant in Central Texas. We appreciate all of the support from our
loyal customers and will truly miss you.
