The idea for Ilsa’s Kitchen blossomed out of the desire of a few dedicated individuals to
bring authentic German home cooking to Austin and its surrounding areas. This restaurant
is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to and enrich our growing community and the
resounding response among patrons has been, “Finally!” Though we are new and quite
different, we have been very warmly welcomed by our neighbors in Briarcliff, Spicewood,
and Bee Cave and have already gained several regulars among families and clubs alike.
As a family-owned local business, our already firmly planted Austinite roots will only grow
stronger with the passage of time. Ultimately, our goal is to be a living part of our
